FAQ
Everything clients ask first.
What does Tribal House do?
Tribal House is a brand, web, and product design studio in Accra. We ship brand identities and websites in four to eight weeks for teams in Ghana and internationally.
Who do you work with?
Founders, startups, and marketing teams at growing companies. Most clients come to us for a brand system or a website launch.
Do you work with early-stage brands or only established companies?
Both. Some clients have a brand and need a better website. Others are pre-launch and need the brand, the site, and the positioning all at once.
Do you work with clients outside Ghana?
Yes. We are based in Accra and work with clients in the US and internationally through async reviews and weekly syncs.
How do I contact Tribal House?
Email hello@tribalhousestudios.com with a short project summary and your timeline. We reply within one business day.
Do you offer free consultations or discovery calls?
Yes. We start with a 30-minute call to talk through your goals and timeline. After that we send a written scope with pricing.
What makes Tribal House different?
One team handles strategy, design, motion, and development. No handoffs between agencies. You get a brand and a website that ship together in eight weeks.
What services does Tribal House provide?
Strategy, brand identity, website design and development, motion, digital products, and ongoing creative support. See the services page for details.
What is included in a typical engagement?
Most projects include discovery, direction, design, production, and launch assets. Website builds also include CMS setup, responsive QA, and launch support.
Can you build a custom scope around our needs?
Yes. We scope each project around what you need: a website, a brand system, a landing page, motion assets, or a short strategy sprint.
Can we bring you in for a specific problem only?
Yes. We take on scoped projects: a positioning sprint, a landing page redesign, motion assets, or a launch cleanup.
How quickly can you start?
Sprints can start within a week if we have capacity. Full website and identity projects usually book out two to four weeks ahead.
How do revisions and feedback work?
We share work in progress. You review, leave comments in one place, and we revise. Each round has a deadline so the project moves forward.
Can we change scope after the project starts?
Yes. If the brief grows, we write a change order with the new timeline and fee. You approve it before we start the extra work.
Do you provide walkthroughs and handover documentation?
Yes. Every launch comes with Loom walkthroughs, a CMS guide, and a launch checklist so your team can manage the work after we hand it off.
Do you offer support after launch?
Yes. A monthly retainer covers ongoing work, or a defined 30 to 60 day support window covers the weeks right after launch.
What happens if we find an issue after launch?
Send us the issue with a screen recording and steps to reproduce. We fix bugs within the support window at no extra cost.
Is our project information kept confidential?
Yes. We keep client materials confidential and sign an NDA before work starts if you need one.
What does pricing look like?
Project sprints start at $2,500. Full brand and website engagements start at $6,000. Retainers start at $1,500 per month. We send a written scope and fee after the first call.
How are invoices and payments handled?
Projects are invoiced in three stages: 40% at kickoff, 40% during production, and 20% at final delivery. Retainers are invoiced monthly in advance.
What is the difference between a project and a retainer?
A project has a defined outcome: a rebrand, a website launch, or a campaign. A retainer is monthly support for ongoing design, development, and motion work.
How do I pause or cancel a retainer?
Send us an email two weeks before you want to pause or end the retainer. We confirm in writing and wrap up the work from the current month.
Do you offer refunds?
No. Design work is time-based, not refundable. We agree on scope, approvals, and payment stages before work starts, so the commitment is clear on both sides.
